Installation of fragments of historical stone masonry from the city of Amsterdam’s archives, covered in layers of texts drawn in graphite, collected from news articles concerning various humanitarian crises. Supporting material, including a film ‘KUNST IS SHIT’ and artistic research accessible through QR codes, bring together references that the stones make to Dutch colonial history with documents and images relating to social movements from the present and recent past.
