flooring, curtain, ring binders
Installation in the exhibition program ‘Scenographies’ of a series of propped open trapdoors of varying scales, cut directly into the floor of Stedelijk Museum Bureau, Amsterdam. Encircling the main exhibition room is a curtain rail on to which is mounted a single black out curtain that can be used by participating artists to conceal and reveal walls. In the entrance two rows of ring binders are mounted to the wall, containing research into the archive of SKOR | Foundation for Art and Public Domain.
Realised as part of the installed in the exhibition ‘Scenographies’, curated by Clare Butcher, Stedelijk Museum Bureau, Amsterdam, 14 September – 16 November 2013.
